La Liga (Week 8) : Real Madrid beats Levante 5-0
SPAIN, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: Five wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Deportivo La Coruna, Elche, Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-0 victory over Levante this Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored dual goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ronaldo ('13 on penalty) and Hernández ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Ronaldo '61, Rodríguez '66 and Isco '82).
Real Madrid climbed to second place with 18 points from 8 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
