La Liga (Week 11) : Real Madrid defeats Rayo 5-1
SPAIN, Nov. 8, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 11: 8 wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Deportivo La Coruna, Elche, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Levante, Barcelona and Granada, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Saturday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bale ('9) and Ramos ('39). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Kroos '56, Benzema '59 and Ronaldo '83).
Real Madrid remains in first place with 27 points from 11 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona.
