La Liga (Week 23) : Almeria draw 2-2 with Real Sociedad
SPAIN, Feb. 13, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: The match between Almeria and Real Sociedad ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Almeria players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Verza ('5 on penalty) and Hemed ('40) while Real Sociedad only scored once Agirretxe ('27). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Sociedad with a saving goal from Real Sociedad forward Canales in the 48th minute.
Real Sociedad climbed to 11st place with 24 points from 23 games, only one point behind Celta Vigo, which has a game in hand.
