La Liga (Week 23) : Real Madrid beats Deportivo 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 14, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: After losing 4-0 to Atletico Madrid on February 7, Los Blancos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Isco in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Benzema in the 73rd minute.
Real Madrid remains in first place with 57 points from 23 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
