La Liga (Week 28) : Barcelona beats Real Madrid 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 22, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: Four wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Granada, Rayo Vallecano and Eibar, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid this Sunday.
Barcelona defender Jérémy Mathieu opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Real Madrid catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo. 1-1 at half time. Barca eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Suárez in the 56th minute.
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 68 points from 28 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Real Madrid.
