La Liga (Week 28) : Real Sociedad defeats Cordoba 3-1
SPAIN, Mar. 22, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 28: Three wins in a row for Real Sociedad. After their success against Espanyol and Getafe, La Real continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Cordoba forward Florin Andone opened the score in the 12th minute, before seeing Real Sociedad catch up in the 33rd minute thanks to Imanol Agirretxe. 1-1 at half time. La Real eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Castro ('75) and Finnbogason ('90).
Real Sociedad climbed to 9th place with 36 points from 28 games, 3 points behind Athletic Bilbao.
