La Liga (Week 4) : Villarreal beats Bilbao 3-1
SPAIN, Sep. 20, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 4: Three wins in a row for Villarreal. After their success against Espanyol and Granada, El Submarino Amarillo continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Sunday.
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Soriano Bruno in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Gaspar Mario '67 and Baptistao Leonardo '80).
Villarreal CF climbed to second place with 10 points from 4 games, tie on points with Real Madrid.
