SPAIN, Aug. 26, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 2: The match between Espanyol and Malaga ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Espanyol players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Espanyol forward Gerard Moreno in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Moreno Gerard goal ('60) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Malaga with goals by Diego Llorente ('67) and Dias Charles ('90).
Malaga CF remains in 8th place with 2 points from 2 games, one point behind CD Leganés, which has a game in hand.
