SPAIN, Aug. 28, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Las Palmas. After their 2-4 win against Valencia on August 22, Los Amarillos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-1 victory over Granada this Sunday.
Nabil El Zhar scored dual goals
Las Palmas midfielder Nabil El Zhar opened the score in the 23rd minute, before seeing Granada catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Boga Jeremie. 1-1 at half time. Los Amarillos eventually won the game in the second period with four more goals by Boateng ('52), El Zhar Nabil ('69), Figueroa Hector ('73) and Araujo Sergio ('86).
UD Las Palmas climbed to first place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with runner-up Real Madrid.
