SPAIN, Sep. 11, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 3: After their 0-0 draw against Alavés on August 28, Los Rojiblancos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Leganés this Sunday.
Sporting Gijon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Cases Nacho ('17) and Cop Duje ('43 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Real Sporting de Gijon climbed to third place with 7 points from 3 games, tie on points with Sevilla FC.
