One goal for both sides in the first half, Castro Ruben ('41 on penalty) for Real Betis, Aspas ('15) for Celta Vigo and two each in the second, Sanabria Antonio ('53) and Pezzella German ('73) for Real Betis, Aspas ('61) and Roncaglia ('85) for Celta Vigo.
Celta Vigo climbed to 8th place with 21 points from 14 games, tie on points with SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
