La Liga (Week 2) : Levante and Deportivo play to a 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 2: Levante was held to a 2-2 draw by Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.
Deportivo La Coruna players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Cartabia Fede ('5) and Sidnei Rechel ('31) while Levante only scored once Bardhi Enis ('35). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Levante with a saving goal from Levante forward Lopez Ivan on penalty in the 83rd minute.
Levante UD climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind FC Barcelona.
