SPAIN, Sep. 17, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Villarreal. After their 3-1 win against Real Betis on September 10, El Submarino Amarillo continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-0 victory over Alavés this Sunday.
Bakambu Cedric scored dual goals
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bakambu Cedric in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bacca '52 and Bakambu Cedric '62).
Villarreal CF climbed to 6th place with 6 points from 4 games, only one point behind Athletic Bilbao, which has a game in hand.
