La Liga (Week 3) : Villarreal beats Betis 3-1
SPAIN, Sep. 10, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 3: After losing 1-0 to Levante on August 25 and 3-0 to Real Sociedad on August 25, El Submarino Amarillo returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Real Betis this Sunday.
Leon Sergio opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Villarreal catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Carlos Bacca. 1-1 at half time. El Submarino Amarillo eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Castillejo ('61) and Unal Enes ('76).
Villarreal CF climbed to 13rd place with 3 points from 3 games, tie on points with Celta Vigo.
