SPAIN, Sep. 8, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 3: After two straigth victories against Alavés and Espanyol, Los Pepineros lost 2-1 against Getafe.
Getafe dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Arambarri Mauro in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Azulones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jimenez Alvaro with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Leganés remains in third place with 6 points from 3 games, tie on points with FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
