SPAIN, Sep. 19, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: Five wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Real Betis, Alavés, Espanyol and Getafe, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 6-1 victory over Eibar this Tuesday.
Lionel Messi scored tripple goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Messi Lionel ('20 on penalty) and Paulinho ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Suárez '53 and Messi '59, '62, '87).
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 15 points from 5 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
