League One (Week 25) : Scunthorpe defeats Walsall 4-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Scunthorpe United. After their 2-1 win against Rochdale on December 26, the Iron continued their sensational form in the League One with a 4-1 victory over Walsall this Saturday.
Scunthorpe United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Chambers ('24 own) and Hopper ('39). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Iron further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Madden '63/penalty and Bishop '65).
Walsall FC are down in 15th place with 30 points from 25 games, one point behind Doncaster Rovers FC, which has two games in hand.
