League One (Week 24) : Doncaster beats Crewe 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 17, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Doncaster Rovers. After their success against Crawley Town and Yeovil Town, Rovers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra this Tuesday.
Crewe Alexandra had started off well by taking the lead in the 8th minute with a goal by Ray. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Rovers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Furman '62 and Wellens '90).
Doncaster Rovers FC climbed to 6th place with 45 points from 30 games, 3 points behind Sheffield United FC, which has a game in hand.
