League One (Week 35) : Port Vale defeats Coventry 3-2
ENGLAND, Mar. 7, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 35: After losing 0-1 to Oldham Athletic on March 3, the Valiants bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Coventry City this Saturday.
Coventry City opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to O Brien, before Port Vale regained the advantage with Pope ('40) and Marshall ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Valiants further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by O Connor in the 76th minute.
Port Vale FC climbed to 11st place with 48 points from 35 games, tie on points with Bradford City AFC, which has two games in hand.
