ENGLAND, Apr. 14, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 43: After their 1-1 draw against Barnsley on April 11, the Spireites returned to winning ways with a 6-0 victory over Colchester United this Tuesday.
Roberts and Clucas scored dual goals
Chesterfield dominated the first half thanks to goals from Roberts ('6) and Clucas ('16, '17). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Spireites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Gardner '58, Ryan '60 and Roberts '84/penalty).
Chesterfield FC remains in 6th place with 67 points from 43 games, one point behind Sheffield United FC.
