League One (Week 5) : Rochdale defeats Barnsley 3-0
ENGLAND, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: After their 0-0 draw against Chesterfield on August 22, the Dale bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Barnsley this Saturday.
Rochdale dominated the first half thanks to goals from Andrew Calvin ('8) and Vincenti Peter ('36). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Dale further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Henderson Ian in the 63rd minute.
Rochdale AFC climbed to fifth place with 10 points from 5 games, only one point behind Gillingham FC.
