League One (Week 5) : Coventry and Southend tied at 2-2
ENGLAND, Aug. 31, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: Coventry City was held to a 2-2 draw by Southend United on Monday.
Southend United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Hunt Noel ('35) and Mooney David ('41 on penalty) while Coventry City only scored once Johnson Reda ('33). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Coventry City with a saving goal from Ricketts Sam in the 72nd minute.
Coventry City FC are down in fifth place with 10 points from 5 games, one point behind Gillingham FC.
