ENGLAND, Sep. 5, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 6: After their 2-2 draw against Coventry City on August 31, the Shrimpers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Peterborough United this Saturday.
Southend United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Barrett Adam in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Shrimpers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hunt Noel in the 70th minute.
Southend United FC climbed to 15th place with 6 points from 6 games, tie on points with Doncaster Rovers FC, which has a game in hand.
