League One (Week 12) : Gillingham beats Chesterfield 3-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 10, 2015 (AMP) — League One / Match day 12: After their 3-3 draw against Oldham Athletic on October 3, the Gills returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Chesterfield this Saturday.
Egan John opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Chesterfield catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Simons Rai. 1-1 at half time. The Gills eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Donnelly Rory ('54) and Lennon Harry ('72).
Gillingham FC climbed to third place with 24 points from 12 games, only one point behind Burton Albion FC.
