ENGLAND, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 42: After five straigth victories against Bradford City, Swindon Town, Rochdale, Shrewsbury Town and Coventry City, the Latics lost 3-1 against Doncaster Rovers.
Butler Andy scored dual goals
Wigan Athletic had started off well by taking the lead in the 41st minute with a goal by Grigg Will. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Rovers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Butler Andy '50, '54 and Williams Andy '88 on penalty).
Wigan Athletic FC remains in first place with 80 points from 42 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Burton Albion FC.
