League One (Week 45) : Walsall beats Fleetwood 3-1
ENGLAND, May. 2, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 45: Two wins in a row for Walsall. After their 2-1 win against Shrewsbury Town on April 26, the Saddlers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Fleetwood Town this Monday.
Walsall dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bradshaw Tom ('2) and Downing Paul ('18). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Saddlers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sawyers Romaine in the 58th minute.
Walsall FC remains in third place with 81 points from 45 games, 3 points behind Burton Albion FC.
