ENGLAND, Apr. 30, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 45: Two wins in a row for Burton Albion. After their 0-3 win against Colchester United on April 23, the Brewers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Gillingham this Saturday.
Burton Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Akins Lucas in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brewers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Naylor Tom in stoppage time.
Burton Albion FC remains in second place with 84 points from 45 games, 3 points behind Wigan Athletic FC.
