Winnall Sam scored dual goals
Wigan Athletic opened the score in the score in the 10th minute thanks to Grigg Will, before Barnsley regained the advantage with Winnall Sam ('33 on penalty, '44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Tykes further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hourihane Conor '56 and Brownhill Josh '74).
