League One (Week 1) : Northampton and Fleetwood tied at 1-1
ENGLAND, Aug. 6, 2016 (AMP) — League One: Northampton Town and Fleetwood Town opened the 2016-2017 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Northampton Town players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Neal Chris into his own net in the 9th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Fleetwood Town with a saving goal from Nirennold Victor in the 52nd minute.
