League One (Week 10) : Port Vale defeats Millwall 3-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 10: After losing 2-1 to Bristol Rovers on September 24, the Valiants returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Millwall this Tuesday.
Port Vale dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Jones Alexander in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Valiants further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Paterson Martin '59 and Streete Remie '71).
Port Vale FC climbed to fifth place with 17 points from 10 games, tie on points with Northampton Town FC.
