League One (Week 22) : Oxford beats Bury 3-2
ENGLAND, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 22: After their 1-1 draw against Scunthorpe United on December 10 and 1-1 draw against Oldham Athletic on December 10, the Boys from Up the Hill returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Bury this Saturday.
Maguire Chris scored dual goals
Two goals for both sides during the first half, Vaughan James (5e) and Pope Tom (39e) for Bury, Maguire Chris (14e, 43e) for Oxford United. After the break, the Boys from Up the Hill settled the issue with another goal courtesy of player Leigh Greg into his own net in the 70th minute.
Oxford United FC climbed to 10th place with 30 points from 22 games, 2 points behind AFC Wimbledon.
