League One (Week 24) : Millwall beats Gillingham 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 30, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Millwall. After their success against Charlton Athletic and Swindon Town, the Lions continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Gillingham this Friday.
Millwall dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gregory Lee in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lions further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Onyedinma Fred in the 63rd minute.
Millwall FC climbed to 7th place with 37 points from 24 games, tie on points with Southend United FC, which has a game in hand.
