ENGLAND, Jan. 14, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 27: After losing 1-3 to Sheffield United on January 7 and 3-2 to Scunthorpe United on January 7, the Shakers returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Peterborough United this Saturday.
Vaughan James served up another goal feast
Peterborough United opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Nichols Tom, before Bury regained the advantage with Vaughan James ('7, '16, '24, '27). Leading 4-1 at the break, the Shakers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Miller George in the 71st minute.
Peterborough United FC are down in 10th place with 38 points from 25 games, one point behind Bristol Rovers FC.
