ENGLAND, Jan. 14, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 27: After 6 straigth victories against Swindon Town, Coventry City, Oldham Athletic, Northampton Town, Bury and Southend United, the Blades lost 4-1 against Walsall.
Bakayoko Amadou opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Sheffield United catch up in the 10th minute thanks to O Connell Jack. 1-1 at half time. The Saddlers eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Mccarthy Jason ('58), Edwards Joe ('67) and Oztumer Erhun ('77 on penalty).
Sheffield United FC remains in first place with 56 points from 27 games, one point ahead of runner-up Scunthorpe United FC.
