League One (Week 35) : Sheffield United beats Southend 4-2

ENGLAND, Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 35: 6 wins in a row for Sheffield United. After their success against Swindon Town, Coventry City, Oldham Athletic, Northampton Town and Bury, the Blades continued their sensational form in the League One with a 4-2 victory over Southend United this Saturday.

Sheffield United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ebanks-landell Ethan ('3) and O Connell Jack ('42). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Blades further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lavery Caolan '72 and Freeman Kieron '76).

Sheffield United FC remains in first place with 56 points from 26 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Scunthorpe United FC.
