League One (Week 25) : Sheffield United beats Bury 3-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 2, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 25: Five wins in a row for Sheffield United. After their success against Swindon Town, Coventry City, Oldham Athletic and Northampton Town, the Blades continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Bury this Monday.
Mellis Jacob opened the score in the 12th minute, before seeing Sheffield United catch up in the 21st minute thanks to Sharp Billy. 1-1 at half time. The Blades eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Etuhu Kelvin ('72 own) and Freeman Kieron ('81).
Sheffield United FC remains in first place with 53 points from 25 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Bolton Wanderers FC.
