League One (Week 35) : Oldham defeats Northampton 2-1

ENGLAND, Feb. 28, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 35: After their 0-0 draw against Swindon Town on February 25 and 0-0 draw against Millwall on February 25, the Latics returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Northampton Town this Tuesday.

Oldham Athletic dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Obadeyi Tope in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Latics further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Erwin Lee in stoppage time.

Northampton Town FC are down in 17th place with 40 points from 35 games, one point behind Shrewsbury Town FC.
