League One (Week 28) : Walsall beats Bristol Rovers 3-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Walsall. After their 4-1 win against Sheffield United on January 14, the Saddlers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Bristol Rovers this Saturday.
Walsall dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by O Connell Eoghan in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Saddlers further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jackson Simeon '68 and Edwards Joe '73).
Bristol Rovers FC are down in 10th place with 39 points from 28 games, one point behind Millwall FC, which has a game in hand.
