ENGLAND, Mar. 18, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 39: After a 2-1 victory over Rochdale on March 14, the Iron lost 2-1 against Oxford United.

Scunthorpe United had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by Madden Paddy. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Boys from Up the Hill nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Lundstram John '52 and Nelson Curtis '90).

Scunthorpe United FC are down in fifth place with 64 points from 39 games, 2 points behind Bradford City AFC.
