ENGLAND, Aug. 12, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 2: After losing 1-0 to Bury on August 5, the Saddlers returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Oldham Athletic this Saturday.
Oldham Athletic had started off well by taking the lead in the 32nd minute with a goal by Mclaughlin Ryan. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Saddlers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Edwards Joe '53 and Oztumer Erhun '90).
Walsall FC climbed to 11st place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with Wigan Athletic FC and Bury FC.
