ENGLAND, Aug. 13, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Wigan Athletic. After their 0-1 win against Milton Keynes Dons on August 5, the Latics continued their sensational form in the League One with a 4-1 victory over Bury this Sunday.
Powell Nick scored dual goals
Jacobs Michael opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Bury catch up in the 15th minute thanks to Bruce Alex. 1-1 at half time. The Latics eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Powell Nick ('53, '64 on penalty) and Evans Lee ('90).
Wigan Athletic FC climbed to third place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with Peterborough United FC.
