ENGLAND, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 3: Three wins in a row for Shrewsbury Town. After their success against Northampton Town and AFC Wimbledon, Salop continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-2 victory over Rochdale this Saturday.
Rochdale opened the score in the score in the 17th minute thanks to Davies Steve on penalty, before Shrewsbury Town regained the advantage with Whalley Shaun ('30 on penalty) and Morris Carlton ('33). Leading 2-1 at the break, Salop further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Payne Stefan in the 74th minute.
Shrewsbury Town FC climbed to fourth place with 9 points from 3 games, tie on points with Fleetwood Town FC.
