ENGLAND, Sep. 12, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their 1-0 win against Doncaster Rovers on September 9, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-1 victory over Portsmouth this Tuesday.
Long Chris scored dual goals
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to goals from Long Chris ('18) and Crooks Matt ('35). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Long Chris in the 70th minute.
Portsmouth FC climbed to 13rd place with 8 points from 7 games, only one point behind Bristol Rovers FC.
