ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 8: The match between Southend United and Northampton Town ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Northampton Town players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Barnett Leon ('20) and Crooks Matt ('43). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Southend United with goals by Demetriou Jason ('48) and Wordsworth Anthony ('50).
