ENGLAND, Sep. 26, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 10: After losing 2-0 to Scunthorpe United on September 23, Pompey returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Bristol Rovers this Tuesday.
Pitman Brett scored dual goals
Portsmouth dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Hawkins Oliver in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Pompey further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pitman Brett '77, '85).
Portsmouth FC climbed to 11st place with 14 points from 10 games, only one point behind Rotherham United FC.
