ENGLAND, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 15: After their 2-2 draw against Rochdale on October 17, the Cobblers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Gillingham this Saturday.
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Powell Daniel in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Grimes Matt in the 73rd minute.
Northampton Town FC climbed to 22nd place with 12 points from 15 games, tie on points with Bury FC, which has a game in hand.
