League Two (Week 2) : Shrewsbury beats Tranmere 2-1
ENGLAND, Aug. 16, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 2: After their 2-2 draw against AFC Wimbledon on August 9, Salop returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Tranmere Rovers this Saturday.
Tranmere Rovers had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by Bell-baggie. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Salop nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Mangan '90 and Demetriou '90).
Shrewsbury Town FC climbed to 6th place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Burton Albion FC and Cheltenham Town FC.
