ENGLAND, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 7: After their 0-0 draw against Cheltenham Town on September 6, the Shrimps returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle this Saturday.
Ellison opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Plymouth Argyle catch up in the 25th minute thanks to Hartley. 1-1 at half time. The Shrimps eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Devitt with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Morecambe FC climbed to second place with 16 points from 7 games, 3 points behind Burton Albion FC.
