WALES, Oct. 21, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 14: Three wins in a row for Newport County. After their success against York City and Dagenham & Redbridge, the Exiles continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 1-0 victory over Southend United this Tuesday.
45 minutes of play and neither Newport County nor Southend United have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Byrne in the 74th minute.
Newport County AFC climbed to 8th place with 22 points from 14 games, only one point behind Morecambe FC.
