League Two (Week 28) : Northampton beats Accrington 5-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 28: Four wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their success against Exeter City, Dagenham & Redbridge and Newport County, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 5-1 victory over Accrington Stanley this Saturday.
Richards and D Ath scored dual goals
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to goals from Holmes ('5) and Richards ('32 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (D Ath '65, '80 and Richards '67).
Northampton Town FC climbed to 12nd place with 37 points from 28 games, only one point behind Morecambe FC.
